Greig Farming is looking ofr a motivate and reliable General Farm Hand to asist with all aspects of dry stock farmingg. Whether you’a seasond worker or looking to gain hands-on experince in agriculturre, this role offers diverse and fulfiling responsibtlities in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Handd on our dry stock farm, your daily dutiess

• Feeding and checkiing livestocks – Ensure animals have acces to clean water, are fed accorrding to seasonal requiremnts, and are monitored for health isues.
• Fencing and maintenanc – Build and repair fencing, gattes, and water troughs to keep stock safelly contained and secur.
• Pasture and land managemett – Help with rotationl grazing, weed control, and pasture improvment to maintain healthy forage systemms.
• Animal handling and care – Support tasks such as mustering, draffting, drenching, tagging, and assisting with animal treatments.
• Farm machinery operation – Operate tracto, quad bikes, and other machinery safelly and responsibly.
• General farm dutes – Keep sheds, yards, and tools clean and organize asist with seasnal tasks such as shearring and taillng.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, candidates should:

• Have a strong work ethic and enjoy physical outdoor work.
• Be reliable and puncctual, with good communication skils.
• Posess a basic understanding of livestock handling or be willing to learn.
• Hold a valid licensse – ATV or tractor experience is a bonus.
• Be a team player but also able to work independently.

Previous farming experience good but not esential. Full training will be provided for the right applicant with a great attitude and wilingnes to learn.
